Episode 4 " Kta China fast backwards"
The Kta in Pingtan China was the final stop of this year. The conditions were quite difficult which also brings out riders level! Congratulations to the all LiP team riders for doing a great job. Especially Kristiin Oja and Long Nguyen Duc for the overall champion in freestyle! Enjoy the show!

UPDATE from China:
The opening ceremony was a true sight to see. Compeletely done in traditional Chinese style, the government, military, educational leaders, police, and 100's of spectators were present. To officially open the competition, colorful fireworks that can be seen during daylight hours were used! Unfortunately the wind gods seem to not be playing ball and there was no wind on Day 1. Fingers crossed for strong wind tomorrow!
Long’s first heat is against the graceful and technically perfected Taner Aykurt from Turkey. They last met in Indonesia where Long prevailed to beat Taner, twice. All though it was the longest deliberation between the judges of the whole Indo comp- it will be a close and difficult battle once again! Taner is a competitor with great skill and experience and this is a serious battle where strategy matters!
Meanwhile Anny is hoping for strong/gusty wind and choppy waters as she hopes training in Mui Ne in these types of conditions all winter will give her a competitive advantage over those who have been training on flat water with steady winds. The competition is fierce in the women’s TT race with expert racers coming from as far as Australia, New Zealand, and the Cayman Islands.
Phu is also in attendance competing for his first time outside of Vietnam!! Phu’s first heat will be up against Japanese Champion, and Champion from the KTA Thailand event this year, Hiro. Good Luck Mr. Phu!
Yoann has joined his first competition and will be joining the men's TT race! Good luck Mr. Yoann!
PLEASE NOTE: Facebook is illegal in China and Internet is difficult here. Due to this, you may not see the normal daily photos and updates on Facebook. Please accept our sincere apologies for this while we continue to work on a more permenent fix (other than Anny using a friends computer)! In the case we are not able to log on, we will be posting all Thank You’s, photos, and event summary on Monday, May 13th once we have left China.
Wishing you all the best from Pingtan, China!!
