Safe and with reasonable price. Mai Linh is a famous taxi company in Vietnam, probably the most reliable.

Xe Om - moto taxi

That's nice, fun and adventurous. Unfortunately, the cost is sometimes more expensive than the taxi if you don't negotiate well.

For party time, I would not recommend it since some moto taxi might be less sober than you...

Motorbike renting

It is quite easy to rent a motorbike. The price varies quite a lot depending on who you rent from.

I believe a easy price to get is 150.000 VND for 1 day. If you are a tough and lucky negociator, you might get it for 100.000 VND.

Local bus

Starts at 5am, ends at 5 pm, One every 15 minutes

That's a great and cheap way to move around, just be careful with the colors:

Blue and white
From Phan Thiet to Suoi Nuoc (Jibe's 2), passing through the fishing village of Mui Ne.
With this bus, you will pass by all the kitesurf, surf and windsurf spots between Phan Thiet and Suoi Nuoc. You can stop at any place by asking the driver.
From 5.000 VND to 15.000 VND

From the village of Mui Ne to the bus station of Phan Thiet where you can take the Mai Linh or Khumo bus to go back to Saigon (more info on the page Transport - How to get in/out of Mui Ne). 
Around 12.000 VND
